New Bespoke Winch Enhances the MJM Enterprise
Working with Hercules Hydraulics, we have developed a new bespoke deck winch for the MJM Enterprise, designed for buoy deployment and recovery work.
We are pleased to announce the latest addition to our survey vessel, the MJM Enterprise.
Working with Hercules Hydraulics, we have developed a new bespoke deck winch to further enhance the vessel's capability. We were glad to catch up with the Hercules team at Seawork this week to mark the occasion.
The winch has been designed for buoy deployment and recovery work, and is built around our 500mm spaced deck boss system for quick mobilisation and demobilisation. Its key specifications include:
- Capacity for 250m of 38mm chain or 2,000m of 30mm wire rope
- Line pull of up to 166kN
- Pull speed of up to 20 metres per minute
Working alongside the vessel's 6T A-frame and 38T/m crane, the new winch gives the MJM Enterprise even greater flexibility on deck, supporting buoy deployment and recovery work across the North Sea offshore wind sector.
